IFB Evolving Influence Part I: The Pictures

When I first got into blogging and Twitter a couple of years ago, I found myself gravitating towards a specific group of Seattle girls who were also into blogging and social media: Jordana (Clutch 22), Sara (SPUN), Alix (AlixRose), Birdie (BonneVie) and Nadine (Girl's Guide to Seattle). It was through these amazing ladies that I learned about and joined the Independent Fashion Bloggers community. Though I don't consider myself a purely fashion blogger, IFB has been a great resource for blog trends, news and of course, networking with other bloggers. I've grown fond of IFB's founder, Jennine and her blog The Coveted and commend her for creating this community for us!

The Evolving Influence conference is IFB's bi-annual all-day workshop that coincides with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NY. Evolving Influence is chock full of valuable information for bloggers to really take their craft to the next level. This was my second time at the conference and I'm so impressed how much it's grown in the past year.

I've split up my coverage of Evolving Influence into three parts: The Pictures, What I Learned, and The Afterparty. Enjoy Part I!

Fresh Jess Features: Designers style Windows Mobile phones

i had the best (possible) time living vicariously through some of my favorites in the fashion blogosphere during New York Fashion Week!

to coincide with NYFW, Microsoft's Windows Mobile announced five fabulous designer themes which users can download to spice up their phones. here's a peek at the designers' creations, along with a few of my favorite looks by each designer who showed at NYFW earlier this month:

Diane von Furstenberg

(on the Samsung Jack Windows phone)

DVF's theme is probably my favorite. I love the splashes of color; the theme absolutely captures her signature style. I think Jennine of The Coveted captured DVF's SS10 collection best, donning it "Egyptian Jinx"...

Isaac Mizrahi

(on the HTC Touch Pro2 Windows phone)

Can we just take a moment to admire how lovely Mr. Mizrahi's Old Hollywood inspired line is?

Vera Wang handrawn sketch

(on the HTC Touch Diamond2 phone, used by the lovely Clutch 22 to capture her favorite NYFW moments)

Looking at one of Vera's skectches on my phone would be like taking a little piece of museum art with me wherever I go! Check out the light & airy goodness that made up some of her SS10 collection

Rock & Republic

(on the HTC Touch Pro2 Windows phone)

And finally,

Ron Arad

(also on the HTC Touch Pro2 Windows phone)

The designer themes are available to all Windows phone users with Windows Mobile 6.5 devices which will be available on October 6, and can be downloaded for free from Windows Marketplace for Mobile beginning the same date. You can find images of all the designer themes and additional information on the Windows Mobile team blog.
