Warby Parker Now Open in University Village!

If you're beating this Seattle heat by seeking shopping refuge, make sure to stop by the new Warby Parker store in University Village!

The new store is beautifully designed, with classic library-inspired aesthetic.

Since launching in 2010, Warby Parker has expanded to headquarters in New York City and Nashville, opened more than 30 retail locations around the U.S. (plus one in Canada!), and grown to a team of more than 800. With Seattle consistently in the top cities for literacy, it's no wonder we are home to two WP outposts now.

To mark the occasion, they've collaborated with the clever and imaginative Geoff McFetridge on two new murals: a black-and-white number covering the store’s exterior, and the other in bright blue, right behind the Reference Desk inside. And as a special bonus: For a limited time, exclusively at University Village, they are also giving away a custom lens cloth featuring Geoff’s artwork with every purchase.

To celebrate the new space, they've also got an exclusive University Village re-issue of the Ketchum sunnies in Crystal.

As in all WP stores, customers will be able to browse full optical and sun collections and receive style and fit suggestions from Warby Parker advisors. They can also stop by the Reference Desk for pickups, adjustments, and more. Prescription glasses are shipped within days, while sunglasses and glasses with non-prescription lenses you can purchase and take home immediately.

If you want to go home and think about your frames before buying, advisors can send along a digital overview of the frames you tried on during your visit or any measurements they may have taken, using the custom-built app Bookmark.

If you're on social, there's a special Snapchat filter specific to the store location just for this weekend!
