On our last morning in Walla Walla, we took a tour of Frog Hollow Farm, whose herbs, fruits, and veggies are behind some of your favorite Seattle restaurants’ best dishes. It was such a treat to walk through the family-run farm with Amy Dietrich, the matriarch of said family. We sampled some of their bounties straight off the vine; the tastes were true savory adventures you can only wish to experience directly from the source. Makes me wish I lived on the farm, or at least close to it! We were lucky enough to take a case of tomatoes back home to Seattle. As soon as I got home, I made some of the best Caprese salad I’ve ever had!
