Hey Seattle! Whatcha doin' Friday night?
You should get dolled up in your favorite mask and head down to Seattle Art Museum for a Night of Disguise!
SAM will be open late this Friday to kick off Disguise: Masks and Global African Art with a full night of live performances, music, art making, and tours featuring artists in this groundbreaking exhibition. It's not often that we get to experience SAM like this!
The night includes:
- Interactive performances by Jacolby Satterwhite, Wura-Nathasha Ogunji, and Saya Woolfalk.
- Art-making activities with local artists,
- Tours with artists from Disguise,
- Music from DJ Riz. Members lounge,
- and so much more!
Experience #SAMDisguise in all its forms—a mask, a costume, or just a smile—as artists and community partners transform SAM. Grab the family and friends—the whole community is invited!
