The ladies of Wildfang are en fuego. I'm honored to be among the first to introduce you to their first private label offering. Ladies, gentlemen, esteemed Fresh Jess readers, please meet WILD.LIFE!
The home for tomboys is debuting their private label collection with four classic apparel silhouettes, each inspired by an iconic tomboy archetype: the prep, the jock, the urban, and the rebel. The spirit and style of each archetype is infused into the design of each silhouette, with materials and finishes that meet the needs of the modern tomboy.
WILD.LIFE. is the brainchild of Wildfang Creative Director Taralyn Thuot:
“We really wanted to bring some of the traditional archetypes to life through a modern lens,” describes Thuot. “WILD.LIFE is a mash-up of the Wildfang brand values, with the life- style and attitude of the modern tomboy.”
WILD.LIFE. also introduces the Wolf, Wildfang’s new mascot. The wolf features throughout the collection and was designed by Portland-based artist Haley Ann Robinson. The collection was manufactured in Canada, using premium, sustainable fabrics and fibers including organic cotton and recycled polyester.
THE TABOR TEE
Inspired by the jock, this oversized silhou- ette sports football-infused features such as striped armbands and the Wildfang mascot.
THE BURNSIDE TANK
Inspired by the rebel, this bold, sleeveless silhouette boasts tons of attitude and is perfect for any rocker or rabble-rouser.
THE MORRISON CREW
Inspired by the urban tomboy, this crew neck sweatshirt is a fashion-forward addi- tion to the collection, flaunting large-scale, six-color embroidery of the Wildfang wolf.
THE EVERETT HOODY
Inspired by the prep, this elbow-patched piece mashes together the sophistication of a blazer with the heritage of a varsity jacket, producing a hoody you’ll never want to take off.
