I started Fresh Jess in 2008 to share Seattle events & all the things I think are cool. All these years later, I'm still writing about that and a bit about my life experiences too. Fresh Jess is my platform marrying my love of writing with supporting the fiery spirits who like to do things a little differently.
I'm a digital marketing strategist by trade, with a deep background in branding, social media, communications and events.
Jess Estrada is a writer, influencer, and strategist, focused on Seattle, social media, personal branding, and blogging. She created FreshJess.com, a Seattle-based life & style blog, in 2008 to offer a unique perspective on life, health and style in the Pacific Northwest.
By day, she works as the digital media manager for the Bezos Family Foundation.
Her work and likeness have been featured in SELF Magazine, the Independent Fashion Bloggers community, Fitness Magazine, Teen Vogue, Gilt City, Seattle Metropolitan Magazine, University of Washington and more. She has been featured as the contributing influencer in Simply Measured's 2014 Brand Guide to Working with Influencers; one of Racked L.A.'s 25 Women in Business; Seattle's 25 Most Influential Businesswomen by BizTechDay and voted the 2011 Young Northwest Blogger of the Year by DList Magazine.
Here on Fresh Jess, you'll occasionally hear from some creative talents on their perspective on life, music, fashion, events, business and Seattle in general. Because it's more fun when there are different voices and points of view!
Emma Eekhoff is a 20-year-old that would rather be networking for business than at a party with her college friends. She's not afraid to share my stance on something, whether it is an art form like music or recent events in the world. She's been writing in a journalist setting for only a few years, through her high school’s online newspaper, The Growl Online or for a music blog. She loves to connect and network with new people in the worlds of business and music, travel to new places and eat new interesting foods.
