Lookbook Love: Titania Inglis S/S '13

I'm mesmerized by Brooklyn-based Titania Inglis’ use of lines and organic fabrics in her collections. The collection somehow strikes a balance between minimalism and Helena Bonham Carter, with bonus points for its eco-friendliness. Every garment is sewn in a small factory in New York from sustainably sourced fabrics including Japanese organic cotton, French vegetable-tanned leather, and dead stock wool from New York’s garment industry.

Titania studied at Design Academy Eindhoven and the Fashion Institute of Technology, and apprenticed under cult New York designers Camilla Stærk, Jean Yu, and Threeasfour before launching her solo line. She was honored for her work with the 2012 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award in Sustainable Design.
