Seattle: Nordstrom Rack at Northgate Opens Tomorrow, Thurs 11/8!

Tonight we were treated to a preview of the 119th Nordstrom Rack store, this one in the old Toys *R* Us space at the south end of Northgate Mall. Unfortunately, I didn't get to snap many photos during the event because, well, I was shopping. Sorry! I'm thrilled to see a Rack in the north end of Seattle. The Northgate area has grown a lot in the last few years, and the mall has gone through quite the transformation since I first shopped there many years ago.

I digress! Nordstrom Rack at Northgate opens at 9:00a.m. tomorrow, but you can get in on some pre-opening festivities starting at 7:00a.m.

The Emerald Hanger

Twenty golden hangers will be hidden throughout the new Nordstrom Rack at Northgate. Customers who find the golden hangers can redeem them for $100 to spend inside the new store. (One hanger per customer). Be sure to follow @Northgate_Rack on Twitter, where they'll be dropping clues between 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. to find these hangers.

Race Through the Rack
Customers can enter a drawing to win a 90-second, $2,000 shopping spree. The winner’s name is drawn and announced at 8:30 a.m. before the store opens at 9:00 a.m. (Must be present to win).

Complimentary Tote
The first 1,000 customers who make a purchase at the new Nordstrom Rack at Northgate will receive a complimentary Nordstrom Rack tote as a gift. I took my new rags home in one:

So what can you find in the store?
Like every Nordstrom Rack, you'll find on-trend clearance merchandise from Nordstrom stores as well as items purchased specially for Nordstrom Rack. The store offers significant savings on great brands like Hugo Boss, Kate Spade and Trina Turk with most at 30-70% off. The Northgate Rack in particular is smaller than others in the Puget Sound area (one level only), but the floor is laid out nicely and employees are armed with mobile checkout devices so you don't have to line up for a cashier.
