Yay Today has a fantastic roundup for the weekend. Here are a couple I'd add to their list:
Hermès has a really cool exhibit going on until Tuesday. The 8 Ties installation mixes poetry & technology to allow the viewer to discover the Hermès new Heavy Twill collection through the eyes of digital artist Miguel Chevalier.
Check it out at The Shops at the Bravern 11:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. every day until Tuesday.
In this case, I am guilty of everything I hate: not supporting a local boutique until it's too late. I saw in Seattle Met that Merge boutique is closing after six years in the Fremont neighborhood. I went in on Thursday and scored some Charlotte Ronson & Winter Kate. If you act fast, you can get some of your own deals at 50% off or more.
Thursday was Hello Kitty's birthday, and this weekend you can give her birthday hugs in person! Head down to the Wing Luke Museum where she'll be hanging out from 1:00 - 4:00p.m.
My favorite monthly art show slash vendor market returns this weekend. Don't miss Art Ache at the Vermillion from 3:00 - 8:00p.m. on Sunday!
The Japanese Cultural & Community Center of WA is hosting Bunka No Hi: Japanese Culture Day this Sunday. Food, art, martial arts, kids' activities, performances & much more!
Have a wonderful weekend!
