Keren Brown, the lovely lady who's been connecting Seattle foodies at her the popular Foodportunity events, has just released her first book, Food Lovers’ Guide to Seattle. This is the ultimate guide to Seattle's food scene, providing the inside scoop on the best places to find, enjoy, and celebrate local culinary offerings.

Copies of Food Lovers’ Guide to Seattle will be available for purchase and can be signed by the author. Shilshole Bay Beach Club’s Apulent Events and Catering, which is one of Seattle’s premier waterfront venues, will provide bites as well as a wide range of local establishments from restaurants to specialty shops to bakeries including Tom Douglas Restaurants, Olivar, Volunteer Park Café, Blackboard Bistro, The Tuscan Tea Room, The Swinery, Sugar Bakery & Café and more. A cash bar will be available.

Ticket proceeds will go to FareStart. FareStart provides a community that transforms lives by empowering homeless and disadvantaged men, women, and families to achieve self-sufficiency through life skills, job training and employment in the food industry.
