DELI Seattle welcomes Nudie Jeans

Why are the fellas getting all the fun right now?

Nudie Jeans is making its full collection available at DELI Seattle! Next Wednesday, December 1st, Seattle's denim connoisseurs can get their hands on tops, bottoms and accessories from the Swedish brand. In true DELI form, Max Heigh and team went above and beyond featuring the brand in-store. He's extended the store and created a pop-up within it to truly highlight Nudie's collection.

Late Night Chameleon Cafe (LL-NC) launches London store

Once upon a time, visual merchandising was a part of my life. Puttin in work on wall setups, window displays and mannequins helps me appreciate a job well done. I get a little envious of unique concepts and one-of-a-kind stores since they can really take a vision and bring it to life. Naturally, Late Night Chameleon Cafe (LL-NC)'s new concept store in London is no exception.

What was once a boxing gym has been transformed by LL-NC into an outpost for its womens' and menswear, books, music and accessories. Not knowing too much about LL-NC aside from what's been written about the store's launch party, it sounds like LL-NC is a stockist of carefully curated designers and indie labels, new to the scene but with an overwhelmingly positive reception so far. Though the London store is open by appointment only, it's not for the haughty and exclusive. It's so each visitor can be talked through the LL-NC store and experience by staff.

Wish I was planning to be over there sometime soon so I can drool in person...

Thandie Newton narrates For Colored Girls

I kind of have a girl crush on Thandie Newton. I love that she's been in a ton of high-profile movies (Crash, W, Pursuit of Happyness, Mission Impossible 2, etc.) but manages to stay pretty undercover in American tabloid/pop media. She chooses her roles smartly, getting just enough attention to get praise from her industry but not so much that she gets scrutinized by US Weekly for her "goin to get coffee" outfits. Stay that way please!!!
