There will be lots of time to create and you’ll walk away with an incredible record of your goals to remind you to “get busy!”

Lifestyle Design
4 weeks dedicated to growing, learning, dreaming & getting it handled
4 Tuesdays in August: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
6:00 pm — 8:00 pm
Northwest Work Lofts in Seattle (159 Western Ave W)
$249 and preregistration is required.
Participation requires that you be available for all 4 sessions and commit to keeping a journal for the entire month.

I just did the Lifestyle Design June workshop and it truly is a life-changing experience! You know all of those things you wish you could do, but for one reason or another, you talk yourself out of doing? i.e. "I want to get my master's but I don't have time" - Well this class helps you bring those dreams to reality. Be prepared to do a lot of self-reflection, which I can attest is not an easy thing to do. You will have such a sense of clarity, though, when you're all done!

krochet kids benefit party - aug 1

i found krochet kids thru twitter - where i find a lot of things nowadays - and instantly connected with their mission and vision. simply put: "to empower people to rise above poverty." Please read their history to find out more about how Krochet Kids came to be a non-profit supporting the empowerment of Ugandan women. then join me in celebrating them at BoConcept in August!

get your city stimulus on

you know i am a big advocate for supporting local small businesses, as well as anything that has to do with shopping, eating, and having a great time. Shannon Kelly feels the same way i do - so she got a few Seattle retailers, restaurants and bars back in december and created the first City Stimulus. Word spread like wildfire thru word of mouth and blogs like yours truly, and the first CS was a huge success!

City Stimulus is back with over 70 of Seattle's best and brightest, including some of my personal favorites like: Captain Black's, Clutch, Coastal, Goods, Havana, Homegrown, Kings, Oddfellows, Snowboard Connection, The Saint, The War Room and many more. YAY

Sign up for & print your membership card for FREE - then Sunday, July 12th thru Saturday, July 18th, go nuts at the 70+ retailers. Make sure to get your card marked off for every $10 you spend - because 10 stamps gets you free admission into the Havana/Butter London/Cupcake Royale closing party at Havana, 6-8p.m. on Saturday night!

Now is the best time to give back to your city and support your local retailers. you probably know an owner or two of the establishments on this list!
