remember that puppy mill that was raided in kennewick earlier this year? those puppies are now looking for new homes! from the seattle humane society, here are three ways you can help the pups:

1) Adopt a dog this weekend to make room for a dog rescued from the puppy mill!

2) Donate to help the Seattle Humane Society save even more orphaned and needy animals' lives and give them the safe shelter they deserve. You can select "Puppy Mill Rescue" if you would like to restrict your gift to help the dogs.

3) Become a Seattle Humane Society volunteer foster home. Contact dogfoster@seattlehumane.org to get started!

This is only the second time in Seattle Rep history that the theatre company has opened its costumes and props collection to the public for sale. The last time was in 1974.

More than 300 items on sale including Oberon's cape from A Midsummer Night's Dream, Queen Elizabeth's gown from The Beard of Avon and Eliza’s kimono from Pygmalion, plus:

Suits
Wedding dresses
Wigs
Hats
Accessories
Props
And much more!

Prices range from $10-$1000. Sizes range from women's XS (0-2) up to a man’s size 48 suit. There are only a few items in children’s sizes.

In addition to the sale, a dozen of the most elaborate and intricate show pieces will be part of a silent auction. Bidding will take place between 10 a.m.-3p.m.

Cash, check or credit cards accepted. All proceeds benefit Seattle Rep.
