the warehouse sale - next weekend!
the biggest sample sale in the country is returning next weekend to seattle center's exhibition hall. the warehouse sale is mostly designer denim samples but also will have clothing & accessories from brands like primp, ed hardy, etc.
shopping this sale is a lot like shopping at nordstrom rack - sometimes you hit the jackpot and sometimes you don't. don't expect to see the same styles in mercer or sway & cake, and especially don't expect to find an abundance of the most popular brands (seven, rock & republic, true religion)!

preview screening of 'shopaholic'
free screening of 'rebirth of a nation' @ SAM - sunday
"Rebirth of a Nation" by Paul Miller (aka "DJ Spooky That Subliminal Kid") is a remix of D.W. Griffith's 1915 film The Birth of a Nation, which was highly controversial due to its graphic portrayal of racism in the post–Civil War south. Miller's remix deconstructs one of the most influential and inflammatory movies ever made, while drawing striking parallels to present socio-political conflicts in America. The film includes Miller's original score, performed by Kronos Quartet.
