Seattle’s Young Executives for Success (Y.E.S!) and Banana Republic team up for a night of shopping, networking and fundraising to celebrate the mission of Dress For Success
WHAT: To build awareness and raise money for Dress for Success Seattle, Banana Republic will host the official launch event for the newly established Seattle branch of Young Executives for Success (Y.E.S!).
Y.E.S! Seattle is a volunteer branch of Dress for Success geared toward young professional women and offering a fresh new approach to networking and fundraising in Seattle. It is where business and philanthropy come to meet and mingle through exciting events that "raise the fun" while "raising funds" for the organization.
Those who attend the Y.E.S! launch event will be offered a 30% discount on Banana Republic clothing. Food will be provided by Gourmondo and beverages will be provided by Pete’s Wine Shop.
WHO: As some of the best and brightest women Seattle has to offer, Y.E.S! members come from a variety of industries and share a mutual desire to give back to the community by helping others achieve their own successes.
WHEN: October 23, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
WHERE: Banana Republic Downtown
500 Pike St
Seattle, WA 98101
i've only been there once. a lady got stuck in one of the unisex bathrooms and everyone thought it was noise from the apartments upstairs. she was locked in for like 20 minutes. poor girl. nevertheless, if you love food and love to support local businesses, make sure you roll through for one last hurrah!
THE YOUNG AND THE BANGING is a co-created yearbook project and gallery show that exposes popular and interesting communities from cities across the globe with a focus on the young people that make them tick. We handpick and invite both people and companies within those communities to work with us as partners to make our yearbooks and gallery shows happen.
the young and the banging's first city subject - NYC of course - was featured in a gallery show co-produced with nike sportswear.
awesome. we must bring them here to seatown. they would have a fucking ball at sing sing.
